Passionate About the Project. Invested in the Process.
Meet Lauren
Lauren brings over 19 years of experience in lighting sales, design, and project budgeting. She holds an Interior Lighting Design Certificate from The New School and is an American Lighting Association Lighting Specialist.
Her background in ballast sales refined her problem-solving skills, allowing her to help clients explore multiple solutions rather than a one-size-fits-all approach. While working as a lighting agent, Lauren gained firsthand insight into the level of detail architects and engineers invest in their projects, as well as the common challenges they face.
Later, during her time with a home integration firm, she identified a critical gap in the lighting process: fixtures were often selected without fully understanding how a space would be lived in.
Lauren’s design philosophy centers on asking the right questions early—about wall colors, artwork, cabinetry, closets, pantries, wine storage, wet bars, docks, and specialty shelving. She also considers lifestyle and visual needs, such as incandescent-style dimming, visual comfort, entertaining, and dynamic color options for different moods or seasons. Both interior and exterior lighting are thoughtfully addressed, from architectural eaves and driveways to showers, tubs, and spa spaces.
By understanding a home’s location and the areas where clients want to make the greatest impact, Lauren creates lighting designs that are both functional and personal.
